Russian citizenship isn't ''toxic''. Especially if you're looking to live and work outside of the West. Most countries still work with Russia and Russian citizens are traveling all over the non-Western world no problem. I know because I see many Russian tourists all over the world. And only some of their banks are sanctioned, not all of them. Plus Russia is by FAR the largest country in the world, almost twice the size of the USA. So you could live a lifetime within Russia and see and do so much.
