South Africa Files Case Against Israel at International Court of Justice over "Genocidal" Gaza War

South Africa has filed a case at the main judicial body for the United Nations, the International Court of Justice in The Hague, accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. "I believe South Africa will win an order against Israel to cease and desist from committing all acts of genocide against the Palestinians," says Francis Boyle, an international human rights lawyer who won two requests at the ICJ under the Genocide Convention of 1948 for provisional protection on behalf of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Yugoslavia. Boyle says Israel has a history of listening to the United States' orders to stop its assaults on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Israel does not recognize the ICC. Forty countries never signed the ICJ treaty, including China, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. Several dozen others signed the statute, but their legislatures never ratified it. These include Egypt, Iran, Israel, Russia, Sudan, Syria, and the United States.

- Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

- Rules of War - Occupation of lands

- Humans Displacement - Humans Genocide

- War Crimes

 

- International Humanitarian Laws One for the United States and Israel and one for the rest of the world. And today was another display of Double Standards by the US at the UNSEC. 75 years of Apartheid, Genocide, Occupation, Colonization, Ethnic Cleansing, and Displacement of Palestinians

We support and whole support this humanity stance of South Africa for justice, for more saving Palestinian lives. Netanyahu's a war criminal, he made massacre in Gaza killing 22000 innocents in bombardments. He has to be punished by ICJ.

What poetic justice would it be for them to nominate Goldstone (of the Goldstone report) who will now have the backing of the global community and therefore is now impervious to Israel's brutal threats (wasnt their 'play' lastime after Goldstone's daming report on Israeli war crimes waa released something akin to 'it be a shame if someone sent a missile down to blow up your daughter's upcoming wedding celebration, bro.." wasn't that the jist that Israel used which made him "self cancel".. into fully retracting his entire meticulous, play by play, documented litany of Israeli war crimes publicly...? That wont happen this time & Goldstone is the most well versed African Judge with prior experience in the issue as well as being a highly respected, principled Jewish Judge (so the usual Israeli 'antisemite' smear will be meaningless...)

You may not know, but South Africa's ANC government have legislated the same racist and discriminatory apartheid laws that they fought against; black economic empowerment, affirmative action, employment equity and quotas that reduce 'white' South Africans to second class citizens, and refuse them access to higher education, employment, supply chain contracts, employment in any any public service, and selkection to national sports teams.

South African government hypocrites never condemned Saudi Arabia for genocide in Yemen, or the genocide in Syria. or even genocide in Sudan - certainly didnt go to the ICC.
